Incoming Email Settings

BlueFolder handles incoming email sent to your account's email address. Incoming email is either converted into a new Work Order or a comment on an existing Work Order.

Adding Comments via Email

Select the following option to enable comments to be added to your Work Orders via email. You must select this option if you want your users and/or customers to be able to reply to email notifications and have those replies processed by BlueFolder.

Creating New Work Orders via Email

You can create new Work Orders by sending an email to your account's email address as shown in the Email Address settings page. To minimize the creation of unwanted tickets via incoming email, the rules below allow you to restrict how incoming email is processed.

You can approve an entire domain name by entering "*@domain.com".

Email Blacklist

You can blacklist individual email address and/or entire domains. This blacklist applies to both new Work Orders created via email and comments on existing Work Orders.
