Notification Preferences Notification Policy

Note that, by default, users do NOT receive notifications for actions that they perform themselves (see option below). But, if the user has elected to receive meeting requests for scheduled-related events (see option below), they will receive notifications for calendar changes, regardless of who initiated the change.
Notifications for Schedule-Related Events
  When an appointment less than 24-hours away is created, changed, or deleted
  When an appointment more than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted
  When a scheduled Service Request Assignment less than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted
